I think society will opt for the “Build More Prisons” choice. Remember, we ARE entering a police state world, afterall. There’s no way things are going to go towards the “More Freedom” end of the spectrum.

Here’s a thing.. we could have much better ways of using energy, but somehow the static nature of change and the status quo will not allow for it. The error in logic that makes this so; is that energy is better provided by big companies in centralized locations. The likelyhood of an extremely enhanced effiency pulsing steam /heat recovery engine seems more than likely. We could use water in insulated tanks to capture ambient energy and heat that would otherwise be waste.

Great country that spends billions on Wars in foreign countries but is chintzy on helping our own people. The Country that gives Billions of Dollars of Corporate welfare to Wall Street. The County who’s goverment if bought and paid for by The Billionare Bankers.
