    Just when Americans are finally coming to the realization that marijuana should be decriminalized, in Canada the Prime Minister, Stephen Harper, has legislation in the works to actually INCREASE penalties for marijuana. Because the courts have been realistic with lenient sentences for growing marijuana, Harper is planning on introducing Draconian minimum MANDATORY jail sentences for growing pot and is budgeting billions of dollars to increase prison spaces.

    Just because its the law, doesnt mean its right. Theres a HUGE difference between what is lawful/unlawful vs. what is Right/Wrong. Various laws are created for various reasons, not all those reasons are the right ones.
