What is the meaning of anarchism? Please read additional info?

Does it mean someone who just wants to be free to do what they want and go where they want with no rules? Is an anarchist automatically a murderer and a "bad person"? Or are there people out there who want to be free but at the same time are good people (against violence/respect other people and their property etc). Do you think there can be such thing as a "free world" or are we (the human race) not capable of sustaining one. eg. would we take advantage of that freedom and cause chaos?

Yes , Anarchists simply do not believe in Governmental control ! They are often demonised by the mass ( right wing ) media .Natural law will inevitably bring order to a system with no central government and this idea is often touted as a first step on the road to Socialism .We , as the human race , are capable of many things .Achieving a system that suits all is i’m afraid one of our failures . People as a general rule want some kind of regularity in their lives , so the prospect of chaos to an Anarchist is not a very attractive one !

Anarchism simply means believe in no government. All government is bad. If government was abolished, the result would not be mass lawlessness and violence, but general happiness.

Anarchists are often associated with violence, but in fact some anarchists are simply peaceful idealists, although I personally believe that the belief in no government is naive and unrealistic.

Government does not stop people from being free, as long as it is democratically elected, and respects basic rights.

The assumption is, that each individual will carry out their responsibilities for the good of the whole, without government. Government then becomes unnecessary. However, given the power held by the capitalists, who will never do what is best for everybody, I cannot see it being achieved in the forseeable future.

Assuming you mean in the political sense it can be best defined as ‘advocating the abolition of government in favour of a social system based on voluntary cooperation’.

So you are correct when you say it is about generally good people who want to be free of government oppression. And all government, however benign, is oppressive, even democratic ones which are often among the most oppressive. Every time your government introduces a law or regulation that requires individuals to do or not to do something you have lost freedom.
