How do you reconcile capitalism and Christianity?
I’ve noticed that a lot of people who consider themselves christians are also pro-capitalism. Doesn’t that seem a little counter-intuitive to the message of Jesus? Do you ignore what he says, or do you try and justify it? Is it possible for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God?
NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! Socalism is good, however, we are blinded by the corruption of communism in the cold war to take it seriously. Imagine all the people, living life in peace! We can’t in capitalism.

Jesus didn’t say the rich could not enter Heaven only that it would be difficult.
There is nothing wrong with being successful as long as you have your priorities straight.

"Capitalism" does not mean "rich."
Capitalism is an economic philosophy based on the premise that people have a right to own private property and keep what they produce. There are poor capitalists and there are rich capitalists. There are capitalists who own no private property but the shirts on there backs, and there are capitalists who donate nearly all of their income to charity.
Jesus lived in a capitalist society, and was (to all intents a purposes) a capitalist himself. Many of his sayings and parables reflect a capitalistic presumption, such as when he said "A workman is worthy of his hire," and he always presumed that charity was voluntary (implying that the giver had the right to private property in the first place).
Capitalism means that you can plant your own garden, grow your vegetables, keep some of them for yourself, donate some of them to the hungry, and sell the rest to support your family. The opposite of capitalism means that other people have a right to your property, and if the majority of your neighbors decide that someone else deserves your vegetables or the money that you selling them, then they can arm themselves with clubs, storm your garden, and take all of your vegetables against your will. Which one sounds more like the economic philosophy in the Gospels?

when your god is all forgiving you can do whatever the fuck "YOU" want other people cant though because its against your religion like gays cant be gay because god wont have it but he will forgive you if you ask him so if you ask me you don’t make any sense christians.
To quote jesus "let the one who has never sinned throw the first rock"
so if you have never sinned even in the slightest then you should be aloud to tell anyone how unfaithfull they are but if you sinned and expected god to forgive you but not other people then you should expect yourself to go to hell.

What is impossible with man is possible with God.
Besides, God is not concerned with politics in that way. Yea, we should give and be charitable, but that does not mean we should institute a government that does all the taking and giving for us.
Freedom is cherished in the minds of many Christians. They feel the equilibrium of the economy is in the hands of the people, not in the hands of big government and their agenda.
But again, political position is not necessarily a religious issue. Christians can easily disagree about politics.
Really, it’s unimportant. We are under the authority of the powers and principalities of this world which are under the authority of God. They work God’s will whether they like it or not, and no matter what they do it is toward His final goals.
The poor will not give less and the rich will not give more.

"Is it possible for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God?" Jesus gave the answer to this one when He said that it was easier for a camel to go through the eye of the needle (a gate into the city) than for a rich man to enter Heaven. He did not say that it was impossible, because it is not impossible for camels to go through those low gates but they do have be unladen to get through and bow their knees to do it.
This is what Jesus was saying. We must be unladen of the pressures of this world (seeking riches is a pressure) and we must bow the knee to Him and be humble.
Those who are already rich find it hard to accept Christ but there are many who become Christians first and then become rich, some very rich indeed. If God blesses them with riches it must be for a reason so they should seek Him and ask the reason so that they can use those riches wisely.

There should be separation of church and state, as most would agree.
When Jesus was on earth they wanted to seize him to make him king but he flew because he knew religion should have no dealings with human governments and he preached God’s Kingdom, which was no part of this world, though remaning and advocating obedience to worldly authorities in their relative position. (Daniel 2:44; John 18:36; Romans 13:1; Psalm 146:3)

Good Question. Christ lived like a pauper all his life. His famous quote :
‘A camel can enter the eye of a needle but the rich can not enter the
Kingdom of God ‘ clearly shuts the door for capitalism. But the rich men
have money and they can purchase the conscience of clergy. So Christian
Clergy has always been hand in gloves with the rich, brushing aside the
teachings of Christ. Even today Evangelists are providing various religious
justifications for America to attack poor nations like Somalia, Sudan and
Yeman, Afghanistan and Pakistan.
