If we became an Eco-Socialist country, would you move out of the USA?
Eco-socialism is a mix of Marxism, socialism, ecology and anti-globalization. They believe capitalism is the cause of social exclusion, poverty and environmental degradation through globalization and imperialism and they advocate the non-violent dismantling of capitalism.
If I cannot be a capitalist, I will leave and start my businesses elsewhere. Whatever happened to SMALL government? Government by the people, for the people?
Capitalism is Darwinism reflected in our monetary system. Survival of the most efficient. There are no moral ingredients. Capitalism is no more evil than wolves eating antelopes for survival. It’s the circle of life. Socialism is unnatural and it rewards the weak vs. the strong. Read Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand.
To those who hate big business, I say this:
Atleast, if you dislike a business, you can shut that business down (Enron, etc.) I think Wal-Mart treats their employees and suppliers terribly, so I refuse to shop there.
Conversely, I hate the way Bush is sending my tax money to Iraq, but I can’t stop paying taxes. It doesn’t matter who you vote for… the government is still going to tax you and spend the $ as they see fit. You can’t pull a French Revolution. There isn’t nearly as much difference between Dems and Repubs as the "get out the vote" folks want you to think…
