Question about Hindu nationalism in India?

I was reading a while ago that there is a Hindu organisation similar to the RSS but unlike the RSS it is not a social organisation but it is a military organisation…I have forgotten the name of the organisation but it is a Hindu nationalist organisation which gives military training etc to its members….Can anyone tell me the name of the organisation?

I know that it is not RSS, VHP, Bajrang Dal, Shiv Sena…It is a different organisation but I can’t remember its name…….

Also FYI the only reason that I am asking is because I am doing a study in this topic….My study is 100% professional and unbias and I am neither presenting Hindu nationalism as a good thing nor presenting it as a bad thing…It is simply a study project which is part of my sociology course at university.

SECULARIST Crooks cannot be defeated by any Army ( because India is not pakistan where military is strong , indian military is as corrupt as secular thugs are …)

Secularists have not religion other than power & money …and they are crooks nothing more …
Since hindus never unite , Hindu rashtra is a just a distant dream

Should differences in some beliefs make people oblivious to the ultimate goal?

I understand why some people are emotinally charged at the topic of gandhi. Most hindus got affected by his decisions and it can obviously affect their views. They carry a history of unhealable wounds. They carry a history of pain. I salute them because they’ve stood the test of time. Future is theirs and they’ll conquer the hearts and minds.

By saying this, i dont mean that they are weak but actually stronger and more determined than most of us. To go through pain it takes far more strength and courage. I see "freedom" for them on the horizon.

We may have differences in certain beliefs but arent we supposed to reach the goal of making india prosper at the end of the day?

The biggest power of BJP leaders and supporters has been the ability to look at all points of view by listening. If you remember advani/vajpayee, they always allowed bjp MPs to question the central government even when they were in power! This makes bjp the most approchable party. They strengthened the media to make it more people centric but unfortunately, they ended up being congress centric later due to some commitments.

The ability to listen to different points is not weakness, its super strength and it makes a person richer with new perspectives.

I recently joined RSS and i am a proud fella. I have learnt so much in just one week! Its like a nationalism filling pump! So many objective discussions and so many wise people in RSS that i feel that they are made by god with his own two hands. Amazing!
Mildpace: Understand what is a struggle. Do you think RSS is having fun struggling for us in the smallest villages or towns?

Yes, they do take pain with a smile on their face but it doesnt mean that they are having fun. Do you think removing bodies from tsunami hit areas was an easy job? Where other NGOs could not go because of fear of disease, RSS cadres went their with bare chests.

Nobody likes to sacrifice their youth but they have been trained in such a way that they’ll arrive for help at the dead of night without a wrinkle on their face.
Maitree: I always believed that when oppressors get nervous due to truth, they’ll always delete or abuse your words.

Today, one of my other questions also got deleted but you know what? I know that fear has struck their minds. I am going to exploit every inch of this fear in their mind.

Let them know what we are made of. How many questions can they delete? 1,2 or100? Tell’em, bring it on!!
Chalulalu: Yes, i will. Yes we can.. Yes we can!
Let the world: Yes, i am not indian! (Hee).. Yes i am a russian in moscow! (Heee).. Do you care for a vodka?

Sleepless nights would be caused for so many slaves in YA by the sentence ‘recently joined RSS and i am a proud fella’; but still one has to try to make these slaves realize the burden of slavery to one family, spread over several new families.
BJP having been a party of true Indians, does not go to complain, claim, correlate or correct the bad political behaviour of UPA/ congress, but only gently point out , so that UPA/congress is able to live a true life of merit; but ‘merit’ is a hard commodity to be seen with congress and
UPA/congress is a party conglomerate going more by ‘birth certificates’ to prove, one is the ward of another belong to a particular slave dynasty.

Only Indian people answers this,?

Is it just me or that now and days i see alot of the "newer generations" of Indians especially that come straight from India to the u.s start acting western like, of how disgrace full they are, like i see Hindus and Sikhs eat beef and Muslims eating pork and indulging in vices like smoking and alcohol, and they think its ok, or even i see many Indians who get married have kids and when there parents live with them like the orthodox civilized Indian way they kick there parents out of the house and also along with many Indians who have no nationalism for there own country and who are so damn ignorant saying "hey India’s a poor country this and that" pisses me off because they believe of what ever they see in american propaganda i.e fox news etc… and also how unfortunately many young Indian girls go around acting like fucking whores behind there parents back and think that its ok, i mean what ever happened to the Orthodox Indians nowadays? i don’t get it? like kids talking shit to there parents face. It pisses me off in seeing how many Indians are starting to forget there identities, values, and cultures and think that if they act and think like westerners they think they have higher standers than everyone I mean is it me who’s only recognizing this or what? (also im Indian)
Also no trolls allowed
Also im hindu from punjab
and unlike belows answer of where Smile says sikhs are allowed to eat beef actually sikhs are part of the dharmic religon and many sikh friends i know like me also eat chicken and goat maybe but still its like for how eat pork in islamic culture is haram
Hey smile read guru granth sahib ask your dad about it too and maybe read my meassage
Also since you were raised in america how orthodox is your dad? since hes punjabi also?

I do feel extremely upset when Indians that move to us show a complete contempt of their roots. Yet, these are the same people that will proudly claim their heritage when positive stereotypes of Indians are mentioned.

It is extremely disgusting when these people act as if dissing their own people is in fashion. The thing is, most non Indians feel disgusted by such self-hate.
I was once in a weird situation where a white American of Canadian origin was strongly defending Indians and a young Indian girl raised in France kept attacking them !!!!!! Her parents are such nice people. Wonder how she turned out like that. Later, all my non Indian friends admitted that they find her hateable.
I was sad when she hated on India, and I felt sad when others hated on her. A no-win situation !

Forgetting their identities, values, and cultures is bad, I agree. But hating on it all makes it even worse. If they hate their roots so bad, I wish such people just marry white (or whatever) and leave all claim to an Indian identity altogether !!!

Does everyone understand Pakistani Prides motives?

I want you to understand this people.

The nations of Pakistan and India have been traditional enemies, although the people are of the same race. Just different religion. Pkstni Pride is obviously a Pakistani nationalist. He hates Hindus and Buddhists, because both religions originated in India. He hates Hinduism more because it is primarily practiced by Indinas (read his q’s, they are very innappropriate). This is because of nationalism, not retardedness.

All thought the two diseases are similiar.

YOu guys get it now?
"You guys get it now"-didn’t mean to make it sound rude if that’s how it came out.

Always did.

I am aware of the political and historical relationship between india and pakistan, including the current kashmir situation.

Are Hindus Too Tolerent For their Own Good ? Will Secularism save Hindus from Islam ?

Hindus are being brain washed by using secularism as a Great principle & philosophy , secularism will eventually destroy Hindus .Today we cannot fight terror or pakistan , simply because we are ruled by secularists .India has already suffered a lot , Hindus have suffered Islamic brutality for generations , do you want to suffer more ?

Most Hindus are unaware of the real History of India , that has been whitewashed by Left Wing Liberals . Liberals are the Ultimate Scumbags , they have no patriotism , no nationalism , they are GADDARS of their own people , that is their biggest strength .

Islam needs conversions , since it needs blood to be sacrificed by its followers , it is a cycle , that enables Islam to grow .

Muslim population is growing exponentially , Wait for the day when muslims become +40% in India, hindus are doomed that day. They breed much faster then Rodents .

Islamic Bollywood & Cricket are now Bastion of Islam.
Read Machiavelli’s Quotes of Appeasement :

If he yields it from fear, it is for the purpose of avoiding war, and he will rarely escape from that; for he to whom he has from cowardice conceded the one thing will not be satisfied, but will want to take other things from him, and his arrogance will increase as his esteem for the prince is lessened. – Niccoló Machiavelli, The Discourses. 1517

Foreign Policy :
Given the implacable hatred of its enemies ( muslims ) , India cannot afford to show weakness.

"There is no avoiding war; it can only be postponed to the advantage of others ( Islamic Terrorists ) ."

War on Terrorism :
"Still, if you will not fight for the right when you can easily win without bloodshed; if you will not fight when your victory will be sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a small chance of survival."

Buddhism was wiped out of India by jihadists who sacked the temples, defaced the images and either killed the Buddhists who resisted, forced them to convert or forced them to flee.

History will tell if Hindus suffer the same fate.

Why Is China and India’s Rising Superpower Status Having A Completely Opposite Effect On Their Populations???

As China flies to the top, Chinese people are developing a strong sense of pride, confidence, self-respect, both as individuals as well as a nation, race and community. They are becoming nationalistic and patriotic to such an extent that has never been witnessed before. Their excellent performance has brought home the belief that they are just as good, if not better, than all the other civilised races. This increase in respect and pride that they have developed has engendered a revival of Chinese culture, ancient Chinese history, practices, religion and philosophy and pretty much all things Chinese.

In the case of India, we view the absolute opposite. As India too flies to the top, Hindu religion, ancient Indian culture, history, knowledge and pretty much all things Indian are increasingly being thrown out of the window. As Indians start to adopt a more wealthy lifestyle, patriotism, nationalism, love for one’s country and people are increasingly becoming meaningless…
…and Indians are starting to view Hindu religion, Indian culture, the idea of nationalism and love for one’s brethren in a derogatory manner and as being backward. Indians are trying hard to be something that they are not.

Chinese are amalgamating their unique cultural identity with a more modern globalized image. Whereas Indians seem to think that social and economic progress can only be at the expense of their identity as Hindus or as Indians.

My question is, why is China’s rising superpower status having a completely opposite effect on it’s population to that which India’s rising superpower status is having on its population?

If we look at history, we see that whenever a country develops, so too does the feeling of nationalism and cultural pride of the people (e.g. Japan, Saudi Arabia, Germany, France, Italy, China, Malaysia etc). Why is it that the bloody situation is always reversed in India???
Rakesh, good answer…although I just want to correct you on one thing. India and pakistan are NOT always fighting with "each other". Pakistan is always fighting with India and India obviously has to defend itself. Who started this Indo-Pak rivalry???? It was pakistan. And who has offered half dozen non-aggression treaties??? It is India. Please don’t make India to be as bad as Pakistan. We are not sponsoring terrorism in their dirty country.

I’m going to have to say that 3 things play a factor here.
1-discipline
2-confidence
3-leadership
